Career coaching in the UK
for people who want a plan, not motivation

One to one coaching with a human who knows how British hiring works. We fix your positioning, your UK CV and LinkedIn, your interview answers and the weekly routine behind them, then we keep you accountable until you land.

No payment, no card. You see the plan before you decide anything.

Who we coach in the UK

You are moving to the UK

Strong experience, no UK context. You need to know how British CVs are read, which employers hold sponsor licences and what a first recruiter call really tests.

You are stuck at the same level

Applications disappear, interviews stall at final stage, or your salary has not moved in years while the market has.

You are switching sector

Your experience is relevant but it does not read that way yet. We rebuild the story so a UK hiring manager connects the dots in seconds.

You are restarting after a break

Redundancy, relocation, parental leave or burnout. We rebuild confidence and a search plan that fits the time you actually have.

What the coaching covers

Every plan is built around your situation, but the work usually moves through these four blocks. Sessions are online, one to one, and recorded if you want to revisit them.

  1. 1

    Career strategy session

We map where you are, where UK demand actually sits, and the shortest realistic path between the two. You leave with a target list of roles, sectors and companies rather than a vague ambition.

  2. 2

    UK CV and LinkedIn rebuild

Your CV rewritten in the British format recruiters expect, two pages, no photo, achievement led, tuned for ATS keywords without sounding generated, plus a LinkedIn profile that surfaces in recruiter searches in London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

  3. 3

    Interview preparation

Competency and STAR questions, the salary conversation and the awkward ones about sponsorship, gaps or relocation. We rehearse out loud until the answers stop sounding scripted.

  4. 4

    Job search system

A weekly routine mixing applications, direct outreach and referrals so you stop firing CVs into job boards. This is where most UK offers actually come from.

What you walk away with

  • A CV a UK recruiter recognises in the first eight seconds
  • A target list of licensed sponsors if you need a visa
  • STAR answers you can deliver without a script
  • Clear language for the sponsorship conversation
  • A salary number you can say out loud with evidence
  • A weekly plan that survives a full time job

Human coaching, AI where it helps

We are not anti AI. We use it for drafts, keyword matching and research, and we teach you to use it properly so your CV does not sound generated. The judgement calls, the positioning and the hard conversations stay human, because that is what moves hiring decisions in the UK.

Career coaching in the UK: FAQ

What does a career coach in the UK actually do?

A career coach helps you decide what you are aiming for, then builds the practical assets and habits to get there: positioning, CV, LinkedIn, interview preparation and a weekly search plan. We do not apply to jobs for you. We make sure that when you do apply, the odds are far better.

How much does career coaching cost in the UK?

In the UK most one to one career coaching sits between roughly £70 and £180 per session, with multi session packages running from a few hundred pounds upwards and executive coaching higher again. HULA starts with a free 30 minute consultation so you see the plan before paying for anything.

Is a career coach worth it in the UK?

It is worth it when the blocker is strategy, positioning or confidence rather than qualifications. If you get interviews but no offers, or no interviews despite strong experience, coaching usually pays for itself in one salary negotiation or a few weeks of shortened search.

Do you help people who need visa sponsorship?

Yes. A large part of our work is with international professionals targeting the UK, so we cover how to find licensed sponsors, how to frame your visa position on the CV and how to answer the sponsorship question in an interview without killing the process.

Do you only work in London?

Coaching is online, so we work with people in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds and anywhere else in the UK, as well as clients in Ireland, Portugal and Brazil.

How is this different from an AI CV tool?

AI is excellent at drafts, keywords and research and we use it daily. It cannot tell you which of two career paths is the better bet, it cannot read a final round panel, and it cannot hold you accountable next Tuesday. That human part is what changes outcomes.

How long does it take to see results?

Most people see their interview rate change within two to six weeks of fixing positioning and CV. A full UK career move usually takes two to four months, longer if you also need a Skilled Worker visa.
