Professional CV example (2 pages)
Header with target job title and work authorisation, four line summary, core skills block mirroring the advert, then four to five roles in reverse chronological order with three to five result bullets each. Example bullet: "Grew paid search revenue 34% year on year on a €480k budget by restructuring campaigns around intent keywords."
Career changer CV example (2 pages)
Same skeleton, different weighting. Summary states the target role explicitly, core skills leads with the transferable stack, and each past role is rewritten around the outcomes the new field cares about. Add a short 'relevant projects or training' block before experience so the switch is obvious in the first ten seconds.

How to adapt an example without copying it
Recruiters in Dublin read hundreds of CVs a week and spot a copied summary instantly.
The parts of an example you should copy are the skeleton and the grammar of the bullets: section order, the action-method-result pattern, and the level of detail. The parts you must never copy are the claims.
A practical method: take the example closest to your field, list every bullet, and for each one write the equivalent fact from your own career. 'Grew paid search revenue 34%' becomes whatever your equivalent is, with your number. If a bullet has no equivalent in your history, delete it rather than stretching the truth.
Finish by reading your CV against one real job advert. Every requirement the advert repeats should be visibly answered somewhere in your summary, skills or bullets. That final pass is what turns a good-looking CV into one that gets calls.

How many CV examples should I look at before writing mine?+
One good one in your field is enough. Copying structure and phrasing from several examples usually produces an inconsistent CV. Pick the closest example here, keep its skeleton, and spend your time on the numbers in your bullets instead.
Should my Irish CV include a photo?+
No. Irish employers do not expect a photo, date of birth, marital status or nationality on a CV, and many strip them out to avoid bias claims. The only personal details in the header are your name, target job title, city and county, phone, email and LinkedIn URL.
How far back should work experience go on an Irish CV?+
Ten to fifteen years is enough for most professionals. Older roles get one line each under an 'earlier career' heading, or are dropped entirely if they are not relevant. Recruiters spend most of their twenty second scan on your most recent two roles.
